I think this was the band that was also known as the CATHOLIC PROSTITUTES. And the band that eventually became BURNIN' BOB and the BIG BOYS. Played some memorable gigs at Knights and Portuguese Hall in Selma. Jerry liked to act up at the gigs. One time while on stage, he cut himself in the arm with a big hunting knife and caused much alarm and concern. Another time he pulled said same knife and threatened to stab the punk rockers as we were entering the gig. He also caused other damage, destruction, loss of property and terror to several people in the Fresno punk scene in the 80s.
I always thought that he was so convinced that he knew what was up and that subsequently when he was proven to be mistaken and became so disappointed, he took it out on others around him. It was sad because there were these people who were attracted to punk rock in the 80s because they were misfits but they were such extreme misfits they were rejected by the punks because they couldn't get along. That misfit thing only went so far and eventually you had to try and get along with a group to make it in the punk scene either as a band, promoter or whatever.
